Kerala traditional ayurvedic massage(Abhyanga)
Ayurveda offers a variety of oil massages. The body constitution of an individual is studied and required oil is used for this massage. It cures all types of muscle pain, back pain, joint pains etc. It improves the blood circulation and gives a complete relaxation to body and mind.
Special rejuvenation massage
This is a special medicated oil massage for 75 minutes. It reduces stiffness, pain and aches, and helps to tone up muscle tissues. It is very rejuvenating and excellent for general fitness.
Chavittithirummu(foot massage)
This massage is done with the foot of the expert. In this massage varying degree of pressure with the foot is applied delicately over the whole body.
Medicated steam bath
It allows the body to perspire using steam from precious medicinal leaves and herbs. It is excellent for releasing stiffness, pain and aches, helps to eliminate toxins and improves body complexion
Shirodhara
The amazing relaxing treatment gently releases stress and tension from mind and body. A steady stream of Luke warm medicated oil is poured rhythmically over forehead, calming the mind and soothing the nervous system.
Udwarthanam
Herbal powder is massaged whole body. It enlivens and energizes the body and helps to melt away the subcutaneous fat and obesity related problems.
Kizhi
In this process herbal leaves, herbal powder etc are applied in the body in pouches after dipping in medicated warm oil. It is very effective in back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, and other joint problems.
Njavarakkizhi
It is a process in which certain medical rice prepared in medicated milk or decoctions are applied in muslin bags.
Pizhichil
Experience the unique relaxation, in which Luke warm herbal oils are poured all over the body in a rhythmic way. It is very effective in rheumatic problems, nervous disorders, sexual weakness etc.
Nasyam
Drops of medicated oil or herbal juice etc are instilled to the nostrils. It removes the toxins from the upper part of the body and is highly effective in sinus problems, migraine, facial palsy, frozen shoulder etc.
Tharpanam
Keeps the medicated ghee on eyes, it smoothens eyes, helps to prevent cataract and it is the effective treatment for optic nerve disorders.
Katee Vasthi
It is the special treatment technique for back pain of different origin. In this process special medicated oil is kept over the low back by special herbal paste boundary.
Lepanam
Medicated paste is applied locally on a particular area of the body when the patient suffers from joint pain, swelling, numbness cramps of muscle etc. Lepana is also effective to increase the complexion and beauty of the face.
Pichu
In this thick cloth dipped in specific oil may be spread over the area and keep wet with that oil for a period of time, later they are washed clean. It is very effective in back pain, chest injury, menstrual disorders, rheumatic complaints etc.
Sneha Vasthi, Kashaya Vasthi
Certain herbal oils, herbal extracts etc., are applied through the rectum. This treatment is for arthritis, paralysis, back pain, hemiplegia, numbness, rheumatic complaints, constipation etc.
Mukhalepam(herbal face pack)
Herbal face pack with specially made herbal powder and fresh cream. This prevents the wrinkles, improves the skin tone and is good for eyes.
